DLSZ Exhibits Nemiranda's Artworks

De La Salle Santiago Zobel School’s Cultural Affairs Office brings you “Nemiranda’s Mystique” by Mr. Nemesio Miranda Jr. The exhibit runs from July 11 to August 5, 2016 at the Spark Museum.
The objective of the exhibit is to promote our visual arts program and to educate our students about the masters in our local art scene.

About the Artist

Mr. Nemesio R. Miranda, Jr., better known in the art scene as “Nemiranda” is a renowned Filipino sculptor and painter. He has launched numerous exhibits in various parts of the world. He is also the founder of the Angono Ateliers Association, Angono School for the Arts, owner of the famous Nemiranda Family Art Museum, Nemiranda Art Café and the promoter of Higantes Festival and tourism in Angono, Rizal. His notable works include: “History of the Philippine Army”, a mural relief sculpture in the parade ground of Fort Bonifacio, the EDSA Shrine Mural, his People Power I painting, EDSA II relief Sculptures and “The Way of Mary”, a 20 relief sculpture of the mysteries of the Holy Rosary from EDSA Shrine to Antipolo Shrine.

He attained his degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines.
