The representative of De La Salle Santiago Zobel emerged victorious in the 38th Annual National Summer Conference and Workcamp of CMLI Students and Teacher Advisers held at the Special Education for the Gifted (SPED-G), Subic Freeport Zone last May 12-16, 2016.
This year’s CMLI SummerCon embodied the theme, “IGNITE: Inspiring Greatness in our Nation’s Integrity through Transformational Leadership and Excellence” through various activities such as contests for excellence and entertainement, workshops, and commission discussions. The highlight of this year’s conference was the Mr. and Ms. SummerCon pageant, with DLSZ bagging both titles.
DLSZ’s delegation was composed of students from different organizations such as the Grade School Student Representative Coordinating Council (GS SRCC), High School Student Representative Coordinating Council (HS SRCC), Motivate. Orient. Volunteer. Excel. (MOVE), Zobel Dance Crew (ZDC), Zobel Parliament Debate Society (ZPDS), and the Br. Rafael Donato Night High School (BRafeNHS). The winners are as follows:

CMLI broke its record for the most number of delegates in the Annual SummerCon with a grand total of 240 delegates for its 58th year. DLSZ also emerged as the largest delegation among all the participating schools in the country, with a total of 30 participants attending the conference.
The delegates were accompanied by Mr. Mark Joseph Mendoza, Assistant to the SCAO Head, HS-SRCC Moderator and ZDC Moderator, Ms. Clarissa Teves, Assistant to the SCAO Head and GS-SRCC Moderator, Ms. Adrienne Victoria Zaballero, HS English Faculty and MOVE Moderator, and Mr. Genesis Garin, HS Science Faculty.
